Hey guys! I'm Andy.
I do lots of things: making music, drawing pictures, cutting videos... In 2011 a friend introduced Soundcloud to me and I was (and still am) very interested about that platform, so I thought about sharing some works from me to you.
Mainly here are some home recordings of me, made between 2008 and now! I usually sing all vocals and play guitars, piano, and bass. Often the drums are sampled with my own hands via audio software, I put raw sounds together into something unique, shouldn't be found twice around the web. Sometimes I also mix Electronic Music.
I sometimes use recordings / solos by other artists but I credit them in the song's descripton, of course.
If I don't have the opportunity I use MIDI files and create samples for basic tracks. So that's the reason that sometimes my recordings don't sound like it's finished or whatever. I also try to cut alternative mixes and versions...
The copyrights of the songs goes to their owners. I don't asked anyone there for permission. I just record things for fun. It's hobby and I don't get money for it.
My absolutely favorite bands are The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Queen (especially the hard/progressive rock era of them), Green Day, Coldplay, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bob Marley & Wailers, Deep Purple (especially the Mark I and II era), The Cure, R.E.M., and Pink Floyd... but there are other artists I really like, too.
I actually love lots of music genres, especially
Rock, Pop, Jazz, R'n'B (Motown and stuff), Funk, Soul, French House (yes I love Daft Punk), Musical stuff and some classical things....
Hip Hop and Rap is awesome, too, but I listen to it very seldom.
I'm not so good at writing originals, so the most tracks around my soundcloud corners are covers. Hope u like it though.
I sometimes try to compose songs, but most of 'em are still unfinished.
I'm time travelling a lot and have lots of inspirations, especially these Rock'n'Roll acts from the 1950s, Beat groups from the 1960s, Alternative Rock artists from the 2000s, all these lovely movies between 1930s and now.
Oh, and I nearly forgot an important one: I love these crazy anime girls so much (K-ON!, Love Live! and other stuff I watch by accident^^). They're actually the biggest inspirations to me when I record music (don't know why but I think J-Pop is always on my mind^^)
Next to anime I love video games like the whole Dead Or Alive and Grand Theft Auto series. But I don't play online that much.
I'm sometimes around Tumblr and YouTube, but don't expect any interesting stuff from me there. lol
P.S.: I love Japan :)
Because I recorded more than 3.000 songs I organized and created own albums (including self made record artwork)
for finding some recordings easier.
Discography (I create albums since 2008, but because of writing limit in this bio I cut the list down to the latest projects)
