This track started out as a casual tech-house/techno piece to kind of lull out of my ambient funk from remixing R. Audiard's Fundament.

Perhaps it was a combination of reading Terence McKenna's Food of the Gods and having just finished Ender's Game that drove me to this spacey psychedelic realm that resulted in Xenogenesis.

The name of course refers to the development of the sounds and how my intentions were on producing a techno piece; but of course the track took on a life of it's own and soon I had this heavily Goa-influenced piece with roots in techno and prog.

In any event, I hope you like this track which I totally poured my soul into over the past week.
