The The Train Home by Taymaz Valley ~ Michael Klatte & Diana Harmon Garnand by and speaking of Love… published on 2012/09/01 18:45:41 +0000 Just put to music by the very talented Michael Klatte, aka http://soundcloud.com/michael-klatte Thank you my friend. With love & gratitude. The Train Home By http://soundcloud.com/taymaz-valley When we met last, the world was a small place, You to the nine dressed, and there I, mesmerized, Suitcase at hand, not expecting to see a friendly face. Clutching my train ticket, holding on to the rails, I said hello, meekly, unaware; all I could say was hello, Watching that quiet smile find its way across your lips. We were colossal once, giants, vast in scope. Envy of all those we knew. Talk of the town. That sparkle in our gaze, dared to be bold. Yet today we’re strangers, as far apart as two could, The world is now grey and infinite, immense in choice, And that smile is all I have, all that remains from us, The memories that shall surely one day fade, the train, The ticket away, my hello, shall all succumb to darkness.
