Just before the 2022 holidays began, Dubmatix launched a remix contest on Dec 20th. During the next two weeks, he received almost 150 submissions from artists across the world - from Japan to Romania, Canada to France and more.
Steppers, Dub, Jungle, TripHop, Trap, Dance, Cumbia and more. There's a little something for everyone.
It was an incredible experience to hear how these artists approached and created their own versions.
Dubmatix enlisted the help of Michelle & Nico from IRIE Magazine, Alex Culture Dub, Karsten from IrieItes Magazine, Nicolai from Echo Beach, Monique from RDXPromo, and himself.
Each of them selected their top remixes, plus honorable mentions. They were compiled and tallied and the results are the remixes below.
