This is a poem I wrote about the Freedom Of Creativity for the MaMOE14 Project in Germany.
Text by Amy Fitz Doyley, Music produced by J-JD featuring Sophie Toledo on keys.
When I was in Baltrum I visited the beach.
The sound of the waves was so calming and It made me want to move.
The sand was soft and the air salty and when I looked out into the distance, it made me think of home.
What is freedom and how is it manifested?
Am I really experiencing it?
Who am I and what am I doing here?
Why am I compelled to make art and to express myself through it?
What is on my horizon and where do I do from here?
When I was in Baltrum...
I visited the beach.
