AMRU

 Being born in the heart of Egypt, Cairo and growing up on an eclectic diet of house music that was all over the country’s night clubs and party scenes in the early 90’s, Amru was influenced by the sounds of great Dj’s such as John Digweed, Hernan Cataneo, Mark Knight , Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Timo Mass, James Zabiela, Guy Gerber, and many more artists that performed in his city.
 It was only few years later that he discovered the magical island Ibiza and its fascinating underground house music scene.
 Amru purchased his first decks and began performing at local house parties with his friends after his first few holidays.
 Now a regular fixture of Doha’s nightlife and clubbing scene, Amru has shared the stage with well-known international Dj’s Such as the Grammy awards winner Carmen Rizzo and Sincopat label boss AFFKT.
 Quite simply, Amru takes listeners on an enriching journey through his special Tech-house and deep house sounds.
