Woven Signals [disquiet0257] by Alvord Loop published on 2016-12-05T19:19:32Z I’ve been working with a patch I like on the mod synth so I recorded four 3-4 minute improvs. I brought these into Pro Tools and cutout snippets of noise which were then subjected to various manipulations and juxtapositions until this new noise track emerged. A few field recordings are in the mix including some thick static I recorded years ago using my son's baby monitors (in close proximity the send and receive monitors make some fantastic noise). An enjoyable process.
