From Ice To Water [disquiet0262] by Formant published on 2017-01-10T05:25:30Z This track was created for the Disquiet Junto #262. More on this 262nd weekly Disquiet Junto project — “Ice Code: Record the sound of ice in a glass and make something of it”: disquiet.com/0262/ -- I recorded about 5 minutes of ice cubes dropping into various types of glassware, and then swirling them around in the glass. You can hear the ice sloshing around in the water as they melt. I then took all the material, split it into 5 one-minute tracks and layered them together. Then I sent them through varying delay and effects processors. Whatever sounded interesting without much thought or editing. Plug-ins used: Logic Pro Delay Designer; Eventide Blackhole; iZotope Trash, Alloy and Dynamic Delay; Metric Halo Dirty Delay; Plogue Chipcrusher and Waves SuperTap. Genre Experimental Comment by Belly Full Of Stars Sounds like an ice maker gone berserk... in the best way. :) Nice work. 2017-01-11T22:49:15Z Comment by Belly Full Of Stars I love the tumbling chaos of this. 2017-01-11T22:46:20Z Comment by Hypoid Makes me want to have another ;-) 2017-01-11T01:10:54Z Comment by Boson Spin nice 'n chill :) 2017-01-10T07:18:09Z
