Cap One [disquiet0255] by Formant published on 2016-11-22T03:07:57Z This track was created for the Disquiet Junto #255. More on this 255th weekly Disquiet Junto project — “Capone’s Ghost: What does the banjo music of the fabled criminal sound like?” — at: http://disquiet.com/0255/ -- I used Logic's Banjo sample for this one. I played around until I found a few figures I liked. Added some guitar and bass to fill it out. Also added lots of verb and effect to make it more ghostly. I suppose I probably could have gone further down that road... Though I imagine one could play this while alone in a cell, trying to think of happier times. And some of them sound pretty okay. 2016-11-29T20:14:05Z Comment by Formant @daniel-diaz: Thanks! - All MIDI instruments and some processing... 2016-11-29T20:12:32Z Comment by Hypoid Nice sounding piece, those note bends give it a nice bayou feel! 2016-11-23T02:57:03Z Comment by Dave Dorgan Cool vibe. I use Logic and it never occurred to me to see if there was an banjo in there. Lesson learned;) 2016-11-22T19:30:39Z Comment by Robert M Thomas Sounds good! 2016-11-22T12:17:47Z Comment by Daniel Diaz great track, done with midi? excellent work, like a robotic Glenn Jones track. The use of reverb is just perfect, And the pitch-wheel bends...great job, wondeful. 2016-11-22T08:49:09Z
