The Antechamber (at death's door) by A. Lowe published on 2016-09-11T00:16:53Z A priest with a dark past, a village with a secret, a girl with a heavy burden. Are we what people perceive of us? Can we have sympathy for the devil? This immersive theater piece deals with the theme of perception and introduces the audience to a world between worlds where they must explore in to order to learn why there are here, who the main characters are, and if they can trust their own perceptions. The audience is taken through the world, which consists of 3 rooms, twice. Once during the "day" and once at "night". The environment changes as they explore the second time in hopes that they can see the world in a new light. This audio played in 5 different spaces thought the venue. Special care was taken to match the audio to its context and tell a congruent story as the audience moved and the environments changed.
