Episode 4 - For Starters: The Enchanted Castle by For Starters

This time on For Starters, we present the opening chapters of E. Nesbit’s 1907 comic fantasy, The Enchanted Castle. Like many of her other books, this story involves middle class English children having adventures largely without adult supervision. This book displays Nesbit’s excellent sense of humor and blends childhood imagination and magic in ways which are surprising and often hilarious.
This episode features Lydia Tomaszewski as the Narrator, Rachael Kuster as Kat, Tomax Schortgen as Jerry, Micah Gilliom as Jimmy, and Lauren Nichols as Mademoiselle.
