Alizarina & Vadé - Nie Bouditie by Alizarina published on 2018-12-17T21:59:55Z ✪ BULGARIAN SPIRIT EP ✪ Polyphony singing is an old vocal technique omnipresent in the Bulgarian folklore. Popularized in Western Europe by Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares ensemble in the 80's, the strength of Bulgarian (mainly) woman voices spread to the whole world and touched many due to its authentic and mysterious aspects. In Bulgarian Spirit, this realm of voices merges with deep electronic music. A brilliant mix of textures and harmonies, combined with deep basses and kicks, leading to an epic soundtrack for a mystical trip. Alizarina’s clarinet flutters, glides and swoops over the songs, chatting with the beautiful Vadé voices. It also contributes to the rhythmical punches which frame the colourful picture of a subtle world-electronic fusion. Be ready to flit on 7/8 or 9/8 broken beats, and particularly the enchanting poetic a capella song from Russian Gypsy culture: “Nie Bouditie” [trans. Don’t wake me up] - Composition/Arrangements: Simon Phelep (Alizarina), Sophie Lavallée - Singers of Vadé Quartet: Viki Kesmaecker, Lisa Lecoq, Sophie Lavallée, Pauline Caraglio & Simon Phelep - Mix/Mastering: Sebastien Lohro (NDE studio) - Artwork by Marc Rilliet A big “благодаря !” to all contributors from KissKissBankBank for their trust, support & patience.
