Bluish Danube III - 126 BPM by AlienXXX published on 2016-09-26T19:26:16Z So, here it is, my first Disquiet Junto contribution. Created for the Disquiet project 247: http://disquiet.com/2016/09/22/junto-0247/ Made on an ipad from cut up sections of an old cylinder recording of the Edison Symphony Orchestra playing "Blue Danube" by Johann Strauss- The cylinder recording is dated 1902 and the pre-loaded sounds in the app Yellofier. I challenged my 10 year old daughter to create a piece of her own from the same recording, using the same app on her ipad. And she did! I posted her piece also: https://soundcloud.com/alienxxx/bluish-danube-1-1-100-bpm Created with the Yellofier app, saved as 'loopable'. Made with Yellofier app - http://yello.com Comment by 337is (three three seven is) I appreciate the spaces that you carved out allowing the composition to breathe. 2016-10-10T12:08:36Z Comment by gis_sweden nice mash-up-house-waltz-flip 2016-09-27T09:47:35Z Comment by Hypoid Ok, yours is pretty good too! 2016-09-27T02:08:06Z Comment by copyc4t Hmmm... are you sure that hue ain't caused by Cherenkov radiation? :) 2016-09-26T23:08:50Z
