It was included in the project Las Antillas para los Antillanos for Open Air Prisons at Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions (LACE). Artist Mónica Rodríguez invited a group of artists, historians, writers, and thinkers, to contribute to the project by responding to Betances’ call for an Antillean Federation as a strategy to establish autonomy while resisting colonialism in the Caribbean Region.
