SIRAJ

SIRAJ —Syrian Investigative Reporting for Accountability Journalism— is a unit concerned with training Syrian journalists on the methods of investigative journalisms, and equipping them with the means to develop the genre, as to produce written; video; and radio investigative reports and in-depth pieces, covering a plethora of issues that pertain to the Syrian cause inside the country, and abroad.

The training, as well as the production process, are supervised by SIRAJ-funded professional and academic Syrian journalists, who guide interested journalists through the various phases of producing such advanced reports and investigations for the unit and its partner media outlets, once they have acquired the basics and the tools of investigative journalism.
