My Boy by Christina Alden & Alex Patterson

A song about the uncompromising mercy of the natural world and inspired by the incredible true story of Indonesian lamplighter Aldi Novel Adilang. In 2018 he was swept out to sea when a storm knocked his floating wooden hut from its mooring, and spent 49 days adrift the ocean before being rescued by a passing vessel.
