Alexis Glenn Alexis Glenn Atlanta Alexis Glenn, born in Atlanta GA., has been singing as long as she can remember. Either she was screaming Escape’s “Let’s Kick It”, in front of her mom’s living room stereo, or forcing her younger sister and cousins to be a part of her inhouse musical productions. After studying hip-hop as a young girl, then later in high school focusing on musical theatre, Alexis then enrolled at Georgia State University, where her journey as a musical artist began. In 2009 Alexis met SauceLordRich, one half of the American-based production duo FKi and got her first taste of recording. It was with him she recorded her first song, Burn Down, in 2010. A couple years later in 2013 Alexis released her first project, entitled Irrational Illustrations at Heart, shortly after her diagnosis of sarcoidosis of the heart and implant of her pacemaker/defibrillator. Inspired by her own tragedy Alexis decided to live out her dreams and take her hobby seriously. Two years after the release of Irrational Illustrations of Heart she began working on her upcoming EP “Type of Girl”.
