SPIRAL Face A by alexis papalopoulos

I was given this tape 30 years ago and it's time to share it more broadly. It is a softer kind of techno than the style the Spiral Tribe crew has become known for. I think it is a great example of a turning point in electronic music, when the early Belgian+British hardcore gave way to trance or jungle, before Goa became a genre and before Hardcore Techno became synonymous with free parties. It is fast, relentless, dark hypnotic music with lots of different rhythms, full of acid lines and nice tunes to remember.
