Aidan started his musical life early by trying to snatch music recorded from the radio before the DJ would talk over the music on an old cassette recorder. Music technology has changed over the years and so have Aidan's tastes.
Growing up during his teens metal and later punk and hardcore music where his choice. This is where he came across the D.I.Y ethos and started promoting punk and hardcore gigs himself and producing his own “Zine” this went on for a good few years and it was while working in the Ormond Multimedia Centre in 1996 and seeing Dave Clarke DJ this is what broadened his musical tastes to include house and Techno.
Aidan started clubbing around Dublin in clubs such as UFO, Sides, Alien, The Temple of Sound and The Kitchen, this is where his passion for Techno and House music became stronger.
In 1997 he took up the Decks and mixing trying to mix and blend records with a friend and fellow DJ Gedge's help and equipment, starting out on belt driven Ariston decks he found it a challenge but when he changed to Technics 1210's there was no going back.
Starting out mixing Techno and House he made his DJ début in the (in)famous 13th floor Fusion club situated on O'Connell Street in Dublin spinning Techno.
Over the years of playing House and Techno he has played in clubs situated mostly in Dublin
Mono, temple bar music centre, The POD, Molloy’s, The U Bar, The Old New Orleans, Viva
Later with a friend and fellow DJ and friend Gedge they brought the Do it yourself punk ethos and Aidan helped Gedge to promote and play House and Techno at a club called “Genesis” and brought it to various venues around Dublin, The 13th Floor, The Parnell Mooney. Switch, The Melody Bar, Peader Kearnies.
During this time there was a healthy legitimate and pirate radio scene in Dublin and Aidan has played on a few of them. Radioactive 101 FM, Power FM, Radio Na Life, Tonik FM and has had two mixes played on 2FM with a short interview playing mostly House and Techno on these stations.
It was during this time of playing on radio stations Aidan hooked up with DJ Leevi who ran his own radio show on Nova 94.6 FM. He was invited to play on his show. Together they would play everything from Jimi Hendrix to Funk, Soul, Hip Hop, Breaks and anything else that they would feel people needed to hear.
It was during these sessions on Nova F.M that his musical tastes expanded and he got a residency in
The Blue Note in Galway playing funk, soul, hip hop and breaks. This led him to play in different venues in Galway city The GPO Massimos and The Victoria Hotel. During this time he has also played in Longford Arms Hotel The Stables situated in Mullingar Dolans warehouse in Limerick and started to play in various venues around Dublin The Good Bits, U Bar, 4 Dame Lane,
