DJ Ade and Lady Naz (AdeNaz Productions) are UK Garage producers who paired up to co-remix the MASSIVE UK Funky smash "Go" by Meleka (September 2009) and also Ce Ce Peniston's 90's classic tune "Finally" (March 2010). Both remixes have gained good support in the UK Garage scene.
Their most recent original UK Garage tunes are "Ain't Gotta Go Back" (September 2010) which was Lady Naz's first solo production, which featured DJ Ade on his vocal debut on a UKG track - and also "I'm Sorry" (Feb 2011), produced by Ade and Naz which features new UKG vocalist Miss Dani C. Both these tracks contain deep lyrics and are important on a personal level to the pair.
In March 2011, Ade and Naz worked on a track with Sexy Cinderella's MC Hyperactive called "Body Oh!" and it was promo-ed in the first week in April. They have also just uploaded a new track with MC VIP and Miss Red called "Over Again" in April.
DJ Ade and Lady Naz first paired up in late 2008 on Force FM 106.5, where they held a weekly show on Saturday nights, where they blended in new and old UK Garage to a listener base that was divided between the two eras of UK Garage. Their late night shenanigans, jokes and fun, mixed in with professionalism, meant that the show gained good popularity in the underground.
In August 2009, the pair moved to a show on Saturday day times where they continued to plug new UK Garage in a more professional manner.
The pair moved to Hightz 87.7FM and then 108.00FM in April 2010, where they looked to spread the new UK Garage sound to a different crowd. In the summer of 2010, because of work commitments and personal reasons, the pair decided to take a break from music for the rest of 2010, with the exception of the promo release of "Ain't Gotta Go Back" in September 2010.
2011 looks like a busy year for the pair as they look to return to radio, as well as releasing a good number of UK Garage tracks...
DJ Ade originally, had been producing since 2007, and brought out his first UKG tune on white label in May 2007, with a track called "No More" featuring Hayley Ellis. His second release on white label came in September 2007 with a bumpy sassy tune called "Free From You".
Ade, meanwhile, held a weekly show on Wax FM 102.4 from June 2007 until March 2008, where he promoted new UK Garage.
In 2008, Ade brought out a host of new original UKG promos such as "Finally" and "All Good Vibez" (March/April 2008) featuring MC MRT, and also the massive smash "Summertime" (May 2008) featuring Andy T and MC VIP. "Don't Screw Around" (June 2008) was the followup to "Summertime" and it featured MC VIP again and also introduced Lady G to the UKG scene.
March 2008 also saw Ade move to a weekly Saturday night show on Force 106.5FM, where he had to win over the die hard old skool UKG listeners, when plugging new UKG.
2009 saw the promo release of "Why Won't You Call Me Baby" (Jan 2009) featuring Lady G again. Ade also remixed a track for Melody and Ed Case called "Tears and Drama" (Feb 2009) and also a track called "Bump" by US girl band Anything But Monday (June 2009).
In August 2009, DJ Atomic from Imploded Records approached DJ Ade and aimed to promote his back catalogue of UKG tunes. However, Imploded Records have moved in the direction of remixing current chart tracks and producing some UKG tracks, while taking a step away from releasing tracks from other artists. However, Ade supports Atomic and Imploded Records for the work it continues to do in the scene and has airplayed Atomic's tracks on both Force and Hightz FM.
Ade's most recent solo work was a 2010 remix of Solution's "X-cited", which was completed in April 2010, and has gained good support, once released on promo.
All of DJ Ade and Lady Naz's (AdeNaz Productions) tunes - old and new - have received massive support in the UKG scene and they are been played on most underground stations, as well as commercial radio stations such as BBC 1Xtra and Kiss 100.
