Love Songs from Bristol - RadiOh Europa by Action Hero published on 2021-10-14T17:34:16Z In 2021 Bristolian artists Gemma Paintin & James Stenhouse toured their hometown of Bristol, asking strangers to sing a love song inside their campervan-recording studio. Gemma & James have been travelling through Europe since 2018 with the project and have recorded the voices of more than 1000 people singing about love, in 48 different languages. They've created a series of 5 radio shows that aired on Bristol community radio stations BCfm & Ujima in October & November 2021, featuring love songs collected in St Pauls, Easton, Barton Hill, Filwood, Clifton and The Downs. Supported by MAYK, Quartet Community Foundation, Bristol City Council Originators Fund & Arts Council England.
