This cd provides a glimpse into the range of activity of Shattering the Silence, Wolfville’s innovative new music festival — all works on the cd were commissioned and premiered at the Festival by the Acadia New Music Society. Performers are the Resident NBG Ensemble and the Acadia University Wind Ensemble, with guest solo performers Tristan De Borba, saxophone, and Janice Jackson, soprano, led by conductor Mark Hopkins.
