Abroad Experiments Abroad Experiments City of Zagreb ABROAD EXPERIMENTS Since Daniel moved back to Croatia from Germany in 2003 with a CD in his hands (Abroad Experiments was scribbled on the cover), the puzzle started to reveal it's picture. A while after Daniel and Ivan recorded some vocals on the demo tracks and finally, in 2005, AE came together as a band. It was always an imperative to play live so the band first traveled across Croatia before offers from abroad started to come in. AE were well recognized in Slovakia, so they attempted the famous Hodokvas festival in 2006 and 2007, followed by a gig on the Quantanamera fest and a live appearance on the METRO show on slovak national televiosion (STV2). All experience led to the GBOB world finals in London in December 2008. Now it was time to bring the music on tape (or CD), so the band occupied a studio and started to work on their first album. A year later the album was finished, but no vision on how to present this music to the world was in sight. Finally, in 2011, after returnig from their serbian tour, AE signed a record deal with „MusicBrands“ and the debut album „Meadows of a grand design“ found it's way to the stores. A collaboration with the polish guitar manufacturer „Mayones“ followed shortly after. In a few weeks the first single and video clip are planned to be released.
