From 2004 to 2014; Sellassie carved his niche as a leading progressive voice in the San Francisco Bay Area hip-hop scene. Producing his live hip hop shows all over the country, Sellassie became a force in bringing independent artists together. Sellassie is proof that there are young black artists that can make music that is creative, street smart, positive, articulate and politically minded. Independently Producing over 250 Live Hip-Hop shows in the last 10 years in over 20 cities nationwide + 10 different states, Sellassie's Live Hip Hop experiences have distinguished themselves as premier outlets for independent artists. Sellassie also works with social, political and youth based initiatives, and is a contributor to various special projects.
