Born and raised in lower income Kansas City, Missouri, Keed moved from neighborhood to neighborhood using his musical talent to establish his credibility and bonds with his peers. After being in many groups, he dropped his first solo project at the age of 18. As of 2012, he has released 5 solo albums, 6 radio singles, and featured on dozens of other albums.
