DanjahOne has been all over the Midwest and the Mid-South doing his one-two thing. Since being introduced to turntables and a mixer at age 8, Danjah has been steadfast in his pursuit to let only the best of sounds be heard. While at college, Danjah became the first (and to his knowledge–the only) person to do a totally live mixshow on two turntables for KUAP 89.3–the voice of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. DanjahOne later went on to be a radio personality for 105.3 KJMM “KJAMZ” in Tulsa–one of the few part-time DJ’s in the history of the station to consistently have club gigs and remote broadcasts booked. DanjahOne is also quite accomplished on the concert hosting front. He’s opened up and/or hosted for such acts as: Lords of the Underground, Guilty Simpson, Sean Price, Playdough, Bodega Brovas, KRS-One, Rapper Big Pooh (of Little Brother), Chaundon, Homeboy Sandman, Mike Jones, Ying Yang Twins, Juvenile, Lloyd Banks, Digital Underground, Das EFX, Mobb Deep, Ghostface, Raekwon, Cappadonna, and the legendary Whodini. Never one to keep his grind to a minimum, DanjahOne also landed production credit for Lords of the Underground’s official remix for “The Clinic”–an underground cult classic in the UK, Switzerland, and Sweden. He’s currently working on production for an array of Hip Hop projects. Never one to shy away from any aspect of radio for too long, DanjahOne co-created “The Goldmine”—a podcast series dedicated to paying homage to Hip Hop’s Golden Era and soulful, authentic Hip Hop music. He has spent time as a programmer and show host for online powerhouse SwurvRadio.com. He is also credited as one of the founding members of SkyyHookRadio.com. In a 2013 article on AllHipHop.com, Skyyhook (owner of SkyyhookRadio.com and contributor for AllHipHop.com)named DanjahOne one of “15 DJ’s you may not know, but should”. From Tulsa, OK, to Little Rock, St. Louis, and Milwaukee, DanjahOne now makes his home in the Dallas, TX area.
