DJ Turtle Wilmington, NC Mixing and scratching his way around Wilmington, NC is the on-air personality and mix/scratch club DJ, DJ Turtle. Keeping an open format but specializing in Top 40 and Hip Hop EDM remixes and spinning all of today's latest and greatest hits, he's sure to make you have to change your underpants. Getting his start in September 2004 as job options looked bleak, a friend's step father needed a fill-in DJ for private parties, weddings, and theme nights at local venues. Shortly after leaving the company, Turtle took up photography and networked with many local music venues shooting for bands and other musical talent. When those venues needed a DJ, he was the guy. In 2007, Turtle decided he wanted to venture off into the club nightlife and radio world of DJing. Since then, he's created mixshows for terrestrial radio stations across the Carolina's as well as many online radio stations. He has also spun at many of the venues in his hometown of Wilmington, NC. He is currently the resident DJ for the Wilmington, NC Rap Battle League and is also seeking residency locally as well as touring the east coast of the US.
