800beloved Detroit 800beloved was a Michigan-based group formed from the writing & production of singer/songwriter, Sean Lynch. The group's moniker, taken from a 1-800 telephone number, hints at the merger between two opposing themes - "800" representing the interest in popular culture's flimsiness while "beloved" alludes to the lyrical use of sacred, often dismal and ironically naive subject matter. Having distributed music in many formats, including pill-shaped thumb drives and limited cassette singles before signing with the Moodgadget label in 2008, 800beloved delivered their long awaited debut album 'Bouquet' in CD format on Valentine's Day 2009 at CPop gallery in Detroit. Their second album, 'Everything Purple' was originally released in April 2010 and later pulled from online distribution following Lynch's request to end licensing agreements with Moodgadget. In September 2010, the majority of the group's recordings including both albums were independently re-released in digital audio formats. Following Lynch's departure from funeral service, 800beloved released a third and final album 'Some Kind of Distortion' on August 3, 2015. The "band" implemented to play recorded material live performed a final show on August 13, 2016 at Marble Bar in Detroit. 800beloved’s tracks The Book of Love (cover) by 800beloved published on 2020-05-19T14:55:52Z Tidal (Sp/ice) by 800beloved published on 2016-06-09T21:28:03Z 1992 (LIVE 7.19.2008) by 800beloved published on 2016-06-09T17:06:47Z Nicole Dreams of Ponies by 800beloved published on 2014-10-20T19:49:39Z Cut Flowers (Chicago) by 800beloved published on 2014-10-20T19:45:44Z 0930131103 by 800beloved published on 2014-10-01T17:21:36Z Some Kind of Distortion by 800beloved published on 2014-10-01T17:16:40Z Cicadas by 800beloved published on 2014-10-01T17:13:49Z SMPTE by 800beloved published on 2014-10-01T17:09:11Z Enduring Black by 800beloved published on 2014-10-01T17:04:23Z
