7 Wonders Paul Evans Sheffield 'The 7 Wonders' was first exhibited at the Cupola Gallery, Sheffield, in spring 2010, and comprises a number of figurative paintings based around the concept of The Seven Wonders; seven spectacular landmarks from the Derbyshire Peak District. This resurrects a poetic theme revisited several times throughout the 16th and 17th centuries (most famously by Thomas Hobbes in his De Mirabilibus Pecci or The Seven Wonders of the Peak, published in 1636); these works have been created in collaboration with poets Angelina Ayers, James Caruth, Matthew Clegg, Mark Goodwin, Rob Hindle, Chris Jones, Helen Mort, Fay Musselwhite, Alistair Noon and Peter Riley. 7 Wonders’s tracks Paul Evans and Helen Mort in conversation by 7 Wonders published on 2014-04-13T18:44:44Z The Burbage Valley (Alistair Noon) by 7 Wonders published on 2013-12-04T20:21:02Z Peak Cavern (by Angelina D'Roza) by 7 Wonders published on 2012-10-29T18:54:56Z Angelina D'Roza and Paul Evans in conversation by 7 Wonders published on 2012-08-02T19:22:46Z Hen Prayer (by Mark Goodwin) by 7 Wonders published on 2012-07-22T15:14:33Z Phlegmatic (by Fay Musselwhite) by 7 Wonders published on 2012-07-09T20:03:27Z Paul Evans on The 7 Wonders (Paul Evans) by 7 Wonders published on 2012-02-18T19:28:13Z Mam Tor (James Caruth) by 7 Wonders published on 2011-10-12T22:11:00Z Byron's Wonder (Matthew Clegg) by 7 Wonders published on 2011-10-12T22:02:32Z Thor's Cave (Chris Jones) by 7 Wonders published on 2011-10-12T21:51:05Z
