Randy Dzielak (zee-lack) has been around. From garbage man to carni, from candlemaker to soundman, he has seen his share of things but one thing has remained constant in his life - the need to play music, every single day, faithfully and happily.
While living in New York, he joined Dogma, a rock band out of Brooklyn signed to Mercury Records as a songwriter/lead guitarist. After 5 years, 2 albums and touring the U.S. he decided to leave Dogma to explore a less heavy, more acoustic driven solo direction. He had begun to experiment with such instruments as the Banjo, Dobro and Mandolin, which would give his solo work a unique twist of modern rock mixed with a country/folk sound. His country side was further influenced when he traveled to Nashville to play as a hired gun at the Ryman Theatre for Brooks & Dunn. Having recorded with such producers as Steve Thompson (Guns & Roses, Metallica) and Jason Cosaro (Sound Garden), Randy now had the skills to record and submit his music for Film and Television. He was soon signed to Lazybones Recordings as a songwriter for his Americana, Bluegrass & Country genre. His songs continually earn placements in Film - Jane Austen Book Club (trailer), A Thousand Cuts, on TV networks such as MTV, Comedy Central & NBC, and with advertising companies such as Star Bucks & Wal-mart.
Randy Dzielak can best be described as Ryan Adams meets the Dixie Chicks with a touch of acoustic Led Zeppelin.
Stan Edwards has been playing guitar ever since he can remember. Being self taught and starting his first band at age 13... It was no surprise that Stan began writing and recording his own original music shortly after. Stan definitely had his fair share of late night practices and Battle of the Bands but found it was the writing and recording that most satisfied his creative nature. During that time he added playing bass and drum programing to his repertoire. It was by chance that Stan met his now wife and writing partner Robin... And so a new story was beginning...
Robin Lynn, as told to her by her mother, was singing before she was talking. She began being professionally trained in singing at age 5. Robin started her career in singing much like so many other singers did... In church. She also performed in many local and area shows... But it wasn't till she met her now husband and writing partner Stan that her new story began...
Stan and Robin met by chance while Stan was working with an original recording band... Stan convinced Robin to lend some of her vocals to the recordings. It wasn't long after that Robin decided to try her hand at writing... And so another new chapter was being added... Robin convinced Stan to form a band with her and return to the stage and spotlights... He agreed and the rest is history... Or should I say they lived happily ever after... Stan and Robin enjoyed many years of playing live and being grateful for the ability to be in bands together and share their love of music. Along the way they were introduced to many new people, some of which remain close friends today... And according to Stan and Robin... Memories that will last a lifetime. Although they never completely stopped writing and recording... A few years back, Stan and Robin decided to opt for a lil' quieter life... They stepped off the stage and into writing and recording on more of a full time basis... Now by chance a childhood friend of Stan's... Randy Dzielak has been reintroduced back into their lives... So for Randy, Stan, and Robin... "3in1"... Another new story has begun... And the sky is the limit...!!! I'm a sucker for a happy ending... How bout you... ; )
