Rhyme Ravel (disquiet0264) by 337is (three three seven is) published on 2017-01-22T19:17:24Z I've been snakebitten creatively since before American Thanksgiving. This is the first new work I've been able to complete since 12/07/16. Nearly a month gone in 2017 and nothing to show for it. Incredibly disheartening. I'd love to be able to time travel to a time when my creativity flows more freely. This piece starts with a ticking clock which is immediately stopped indicating that the passage of time has changed. I approach a buffer of this sound created by the Synchrodyne and coax it back and forth in a very tape sort of fashion. I can only represent this to you linearly. I wish I could present it more as a hole one could fall through. Thank goodness for the elasticity of time, thank you for the reminder and hearty welcome. 2017-01-29T13:08:23Z Comment by 337is (three three seven is) @triermusic: I like the way you think Nate. 2017-01-29T13:07:15Z Comment by 337is (three three seven is) @wust: This excites me as a desire for that sound was what first drew me to modular. 2017-01-29T13:06:57Z Comment by 337is (three three seven is) @tuonela-1: Keep your eyes peeled for a rabbit with a pocket watch. 2017-01-29T13:06:33Z Comment by Tuonela Down the hole :) 2017-01-27T21:36:53Z Comment by WÜST love this low and nasty sounds ,great job 2017-01-23T16:02:33Z Comment by WÜST sounds like my EMS 2017-01-23T16:00:28Z Comment by Nate Trier very nice, love it. Your desire to present it as something someone could fall through makes me imagine this as a very cool installation piece... 2017-01-23T15:01:17Z Comment by Petrus Major Finally ! You're back, and with a great proposal. Did you think about your fans during all that time ? ;)) Don't worry about your empty period. We all need time. And time is elastic... not linear. Well that's my perception and your piece perfectly illustrate this point of view. With (as ever) minimalism and elegance in sound. Cheers ! 2017-01-23T12:52:01Z Comment by Hypoid Great choice suggesting our preoccupation with controlling and meas uring time! Glad to see you back, I understand the creative doldrums all too well ;-) 2017-01-23T01:45:06Z Comment by Suss Müsik Very nice. Your mixes always sound terrific. 2017-01-23T01:29:28Z
