2SID Inside Commodore 64 This channel is dedicated to real recordings of 2SID music. 2SID is the concept of two SID chips from the Commodore 64 home computer played together in real time, giving the advantage of making Commodore 64 music with 6 voices and 2 filters (rather than the traditional 3 voices and 1 filter). Unlike .sid files played through emulation, these tracks are recorded from a real C64C with a SID2SID board holding two 8580 SID chips. They are also recorded in mono output. i.e. All 6 voices are streamed through one output channel. (On exception of those that are identified from the authors to be stereo output only!) The recordings are done by Conrad, a C64 musician/scener from the UK.
