2 Good Souls
2 Good Souls are a London based DJ/Production duo. Their unique sound can be described as a melting pot of underground House styles, encompassing deep melodic baselines, techy percussion and 80's electronic textures. Their DJ sets are energetic, versatile and interesting giving the audience something different each time they play.
Lindz Taylor & Owen Clarke started working together in mid 2008 creating a prolific partnership dj'ing at some of the biggest nights in the business. They held a residency at London’s famous Ministry of Sound for 4 years, playing at Defected in the House, Kings of House, Mutants, Toolroom Knights & Release Yourself to name a few. These nights saw them billed alongside Moby, Mark Knight, Roger Sanchez, Shapeshifters, Dave Morales, Crazy P, Justin Berkman, Copyright, Simon Dunmore, Dimitri from Paris, Bob Sinclair, Masters at Work, Chocolate Puma, Riva Star and many more.
Their unique blend of underground grooves has taken them to exotic places like India, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Singapore and cool clubbing destinations in Russia, Italy, Greece, France, Portugal and of course the white isle of "Ibiza” with Radio 1 legend Danny Rampling. In certain locations they have become favorites for long 5-8hr DJ sets, which gives true credit in their ability to understand any dance floor.
This year's highlights include spinning for the Clockwork Orange 20th Anniversary party at Fire & Light Box, and their continued celebrations in Ibiza where they DJ’d at the iconic Café Mambo and Sands bringing something fresh to the legendary brand. Andy Manston (Clockwork Orange) said the boys 'were the best set of the day for me and that’s no bull****.” They then played the “It spot” of Ibiza’s Es Vive Hotel and featured on the 2014 Compilation. Finishing off their trip they closed the Space Float Your Boat Party alongside Carl Cox’s resident Jon Rundell.
In the last few years they have become serious producers with all releases hitting the top 100 of Traxsource. Their latest EP is being released on one of Ibiza’s most recognizable labels Seamless Records run by Graham Sahara. The EP includes 4 tracks which have been included in many of this years compilations. With the great Marjin Ten Velden personally requesting to remix their “Death of Technics” track after hearing it smash the main room of Ibiza’s Pacha – “these hot producers are going places”.
The latest EP comes off the back of New York’s pioneering King Street Sounds where their Twisted My Mind” track reached the no.8 spot in the Traxsource Deep House charts.
They have also been signed to the mighty Nervous Records co-wrote with Basement Jaxx singer Kele Le Roc. Roger Sanchez was also hot on their tails signing them to Stealth Records for his Release Yourself 13 Compilation. He also aired them as his special guests on his Release Yourself Radio Show listened by up to 15 million people.
Other highlights in their production career have included “Cool Summer” on Sexy Trash Digital (a re-work of Banarama’s pop chart slammer Cruel Summer, a top 10 hit in 1983). The track was supported by many top DJ’s but none more so than “man of that moment” Jamie Jones! The track went to number 6 in the top 100 download charts in Juno within the first week and is still doing well today. They are also signed to Maquina Music, Kidology, Mjuzieek Digital, Conkrete Digital with huge support from their peers. “Got This Feeling” on Maquina charted for over 10 weeks in a row in the Traxsource Top 100 and appeared in DJ PP’s (Toolroom Records) Top 10 tracks of the year.
2012 saw them set up their own imprint Del Amore Records. The label serves as an outlet for some of their own original material in which they have written with elite singers such as Kathy Brown, Roland Clark, Marc Evans, Kele Le Roc and fresh new acts like Sandy Spady.
Every fortnight week they produce the Del Amore Radio Show with Irelands BBC RTE Pulse DJ - Colin Edwards. It is now aired in 20+ countries. The show champions the finest upfront underground House & Techno covering all sub genres. Special guests include; Roger Sanchez, Danny Rampling, Rob Roar, Timo Garcia, DJ Meme, Stonebridge, Tony Monduca, Jesse James, Trevor Fung, Electronic Youth and Nathan Coles to name a few.

It is now a global DJ movement which see’s DJ’s around the world unite every 21st September to do a set in the name of peace and non-violence.
2 Good Souls are great entertainers, producers and radio broadcasters. Behind the decks their technique, concept of sound grabs every dance floor in a way that very few do, and as Radio 1 legend Danny Rampling says – “they rock the floor every time!”
