2Beeps Matt Verzola Brooklyn, NY Influenced by Miami Bass and 90’s electronic music, 2Beeps (Matt Verzola) established himself in the dance community with releases for Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records and Atrak’s Fool’s Gold Records. While known for creative sampling and retro beats, his sound can also veer into the experimental—conjuring whimsical and folksy vibes, à la Caribou and Dan Deacon. A child of early-internet nerd culture, Matt spent his formative years stuck in Midwest suburbia—a band geek who built computers, eventually finding escape as a glowstick-wielding raver. He started making music as 2Beeps after moving to Brooklyn, where he became an accomplished songwriter, collaborator and commercial composer, with music featured on national ad campaigns and TV shows.
