London based 10 SUI (Tracie Storey) DJ/producer described by Stanton Warriors as ‘adding feminine charm and electronic soul’ to the dance scene, has played at some of the worlds biggest festivals such as Burning Man, Glastonbury, Sonar, Secret Garden Party and alongside some of the world finest DJ’s including Josh Wink, Funk D’void, Freeland, Roots Manuva and Coldcut.
Not content to purely stand behind the decks, 10SUI has produced remixes for Natalie Walkers ‘No-one else’, Neotropic ‘Magpies’ and her ‘Bring Forth Ya Booty’ track which features ‘The Ragga Twins’ stepped onto the Hollywood Film screen in 20th Century Foxes ‘Epic Movie.’
10 SUI hosted her radio show ‘Tweakin’ on Ministry of Sound before moving over to Samurai FM – interviewing and guesting global purveyors of today’s cutting edge electronic artists with producers such as Jesse Rose & Audiojack in guest mix slots.
During Summer ’09 at London’s award winning music festival weekender, Get Loaded in the Park and South West Four, 10SUI showed off her TV presenting skills interviewing over 30 bands and DJ’s such as; Royksopp, Orbital, Pendulum, Roni Size & MC Dynamite, Sneaky Sound System, Tom Middleton, Sasha, Digweed to name a few.
Evolving her skills in the music industry is exactly what 10SUI has always been about with her music at its core. Heralded as the ‘First lady of breaks’ and exploding across the globe when breakbeat hit the scene in early 2000, she made a yearly trek to Australia playing at Vibes on a Summers Day, Good Vibrations tour, Delirium, Summer Dayze along with club appearances at Home Sydney and Chinese Laundry.
Early tours with Ninja Tune’s DJ Food and Hexstatic, opened up the doors for mixing her sound with Ninja Tunes’ visuals alongside highly respected artists such as Coldcut.
Clocking up several tours across the US and Canada, countless gigs throughout Europe and of course sets in her home town of London in leading clubs such as; The End, Fabric, Ministry of Sound, 333. Currently producing new mixes and tracks she is also producing some of the live element for Neotropics Live show, as well as producing content for her Tilt collective project.
