Zeuus aka Zachary Sinkus was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on December 15th, 1989. He was moved with his parents to the United States in 1992, the year of which his brother Charles was born. Having studied in a closed environment school his entire life, at the age of 12 he took a keen interest in a DJ named Tiësto and began to explore the more underground regions of the electronic music world.

Having attended East Doncaster Secondary School for 2 years of high school and learning some basics of DJing from the Australian scene Zeuus purchased his first setup of equipment and began the long and enduring process of beat and phrase matching. After 2 years of practice he began to do house parties around the Indianapolis area. With popularity rising he began to throw the parties and generated a preliminary following resulting in beginning gigs at local Hookah bars and underground clubs.

At the age of 18 he attended Butler University to study Pharmacy but after he met a friend studying in the music composition and production field he found the pharmacy wasn’t the right choice for a career after all. He took a trip to the island of Ibiza, Evissa, and booked a gig at DC-10 spinning on the terrace for 45 minutes every Friday night. When hype spread about his slow to start then energy boasting sets as well as his style and genre of music ‘BRUTT’ (Big-Room Uplifting Tech Trance), Privilege asked him to spin Saturday nights for an hour to start and then 2 hour opening sets for the likes of Tiësto and Umek.

In 2010 Zeuus began studying online with Sonic Academy to hone his skills of production and build the album that would send him back on tour. Not reaching the satisfaction and skill set from the online site, Zeuus turned back to DJing and began booking gigs himself to take a break from the production world.
Zeuus has now opened for the likes of Markus Schulz, Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Filo & Peri, Super8, Fedde Le Grand and many more underground DJs alike.

Now in 2011 as the new wave of dance music and new season of Ibiza is upon us, Zeuus has set his sights on a number of main goals to have accomplished by 2012. With offers from Ultra, Euphonic, and Armada for an album of transcendental house, Zeuus is again beefing up his resume with production and remix aspects, as well as booking a wave of gigs to bring the signature BRUTT-al sound to the various scenes here in the states and abroad!

Zeuus currently holds online radio residencies on Danceformers, FreeMixDownloads and Tranceformers. He has held residencies with Digitally Imported, HouseFreaks, Live4Vibez and many more that have proven to assist at times but have not generated the audience and listener following he had opted for.
