@♥KAPPA KAVI♥: Yeah since this was uploaded have brought the snare out quite a bit and fixed some of that muffled sound by adding some presence. I understand the basics of mastering but I might as well shovel money at some pros for all their experience ya know?

Hey good suprise , wasn't expecting that.
This automation style is unique , though it still sounds a bit muffled.
I know my mixdown aint ''all that'' , but its a point you can iprove on.
I've allways been terrible on mixing.

@zetaofficial: I've had it for years now. I got it for $200 or something like that. Pretty cheap, it was in perfect condition. Upgraded ram and zip drive. I got really lucky on eBay. Also, did you get my message?

@enclave: Yea thats all I've been doin latley. And damn I actually dig the analog kind of sound. How much was the MPC?

@zetaofficial: I'm still going all digital. After I moved to Europe to study I had to leave all of my shit behind. I had an oxygene midi controller, MPC 2000, MicroKorg XL, I even had a shitty mixer that I used here and there. This was back when we were mainly doing Hip-Hop though, I don't know how I'd integrate those systems into our current electronic sound. Also, the production end is the most important part. Even looking back in musical history, all of the big influential names had spot on technique. Doesn't even matter which genre you're looking at. So when you get a tool that's new to you, it'll bring some great new sounds out of you. Also, try to learn it on your own - just fuck around with it and see what comes of it.

@enclave: haha yeah I had a good set of Speakers but they barely met requirments. So i picked up some AV-40's 2nd gen. These things are amazing. I can hear all the pops cracks and can plainly see what needs to be adjust for a quick "Fake it" Master if you know what I mean. I ordered a traktor s4 and it came today. And dude. I never expected it would give me so much like inspiration to push harder production end. This little machine does so god damn much and its almost like a toy (For cool kids cause fuck you I dont want to know that everyone can use it like a pro lol) <---that would kill my joy. Yeah i thought about it but idk maybe ill keep the voice in the song. That wub dude on dubstep forums (Moderator) said try it without it but fuck it right? His shit is not that great honestly.

@enclave: Also... I would have never have guessed the vocal sample. I've actually never seen that flick. If it were clearer *ahem* I may have been able to guess it's Travolta though! By the way, sometimes "GLARGHAHAHAHAHAHA" is better than actually being able to discern what's being said. It makes people listen and notice and re listen and notice something else. It's a neat trick some producers (Four Tet, I'm looking at you) tend to use.

@zetaofficial: Dude. You've been producing off headphones? I own a pair Sennheiser HD280's but I never ever attempted producing with them. I basically used them to check out if it sounded "good" enough for people who're on the go. What sucks for me is that I'm not in my normal surroundings and I have no access to my monitors so I'm using a basic Logitech setup. It feels like a gimp when you're producing! Anyways, I can't wait to hear this tune after you update it.

@enclave: Haha damn that was my bad then. See this is why I bought Moniters because in my headphones I could hear what he said but I played it on my sound system and it was just like "GLLARGGAAHAHAS" Im going to change that. Its john Travolta from face off. (Which I've never seen btw) During the break before the drop he says Plan B then he says lets just kill eachother as it drops. Then the second part at the break and second drop he says it again its just timestretched and I added Dblue Glitch on it with a retrigger effect so it would stutter the voice slowing it down along with the pitch dropping. haha I should have waited for my moniters to get here before I posted this one.

@enclave: This is much more difficult than I thought it would be. It seems like... "this is..." but damn. Neat trick though, now I've listened to the song like 6 times. :P

@zetaofficial: Hmm. I've actually been thinking about that, the voice before the drop. It reminds me of the stuff Shpongle uses. I'm not sure. I'm going to keep listening to it until I figure this out.

@enclave: Haha Im stoked you liked the atmosphere. Working with a lot of layering with the effects and sounds. Not just simple stereo seperation, been trying out this technique of copying a sound 3 times and sticking it in its own section of the image instead of EQ'ing one and leaving it. I'll give you 15 bucks if you can tell me where that voice before the drop is from. Been waiting for someone to be like, "Hey wait a second."

@Digi Dakota: Thanks man! I tried to aim for that. Was trying to make excision look like a bitch but It still needs some sub work before the release. Glad you liked it!
