    Meditation on music,
    Machine enlightenment,
    Zen Tek!

Although people imply an aweful lot of seriousness when talking about the idea of zen (and techno for that matter...),
I am not some uber-minimal head-nodding jaded master. Zen/music *is* serious stuff, with tremendous power, but some people take it too seriously!

Imagine a 3 year old who reads too many fantasy books and has a drum machine and a passion for psychedelic experience. . And you might be halfway to understanding where I'm coming from! hahah.

Honestly actually, my driving goal, is to perfect the art of music-hypnotism (AKA "trance" / "entrancing") with a view to take people on journeys, and quite possibly implant rebellious anti-society messages in their minds while they are under my spell. I think music to me is the closest thing I have seen to magic that exists outside of my own mind. Magic is cool. Not like "Haha I made your watch disappear" magic. . but like. . shoot lightning from hands, etc etc.

Some people say music is a drug, but I think chemicals, music, art, performances. . they are magic. Forces that control our perception of time, space, our thoughts, our feelings, our desires.

Oh and just to scare you all, when I was in primary school I used to want to take over the world. . now commencing phase 1 of Operation Birdcage!

So to sum up my major spiel (now do you see how I am torn between something like buddhism and the righteous life, and.. my childish desires to just play and imagine?)

I am a very escapist person, who wants to create fantasy around me and within my own mind. I plan on doing this by performing LIVE music, so that I can create a kind of rift in time space, where my imagination controls myself and everyone around me for just a little while. I'd like to get into throwing themed parties that tie in with the journey I want to deliver as well. That would be excellent.

Sometimes I stop trying to escape and consider changing the physical world/human society and the way I (and others) act in it. This shows through as radical anti-society sentiment. I'm usually too lazy to act on it though.

I want to make music that has deep psychological impact, but that is still approachable and fun.

So far the technical name for this style stands as something like this:
    Psy-prog-tech-break-trance-dub

I hope you've enjoyed reading my enormous profile,
I haven't actually made any music for this project yet, so I'm off to do that now. BRB!

PS: Also the name is supposed to reflect some of the philosophical thoughts I have about consciousness, artificial intelligence, the issue of transhuman/cyborg/robot rights/humanness/'self' persistency, etc.. The mind boggles, but boggling is kinda fun.

Woops pressing enter posts the comment when you're commenting from your 'subscriptions' page or whatever >_<

What I was meaning to continue saying was,

I love the spaced out feeling it has.. Very dark (in a mellow kind of way) and kind of dreamy. Has a good ambience to it and all fits together well.
Plus I'm a sucker for the song you grabbed the vocal snips from . . love it!
