Zender usually plays soul influenced dance music, mainly disco (edits) and soulfull house music. His passion for these genres came from his early years in the hiphop-infused graffiti scene, where his taste in music broadened to include soul music. Zender was introduced to DJ'ing when he was 16 years old - while on holiday, he was introduced to a DJ in Manchester, and a new path was laid out before him.

Now, 20 years later, Zender organizes and promotes a few events: De Nachtspelen, Buitenspelen and the Costa del Soul Festival. His event organisation is called: The Rendez Vous (a not too obvious anagram of his artist name).

Leading a double life as a freelance graphic artist, small and large names in the Dutch dance scene find themselves among Zender's clients, keeping himself constantly updated with the Amsterdam party scene. Stay tuned!
