Zainghis is the multi-instrumentalist composer, DJ, and producer from Chicago, IL, delivering experimental hip hop to time zones across the globe.
Zanadu's recording pedigree is peppered with acerbic hardcore raps, buzzsaw hardcore punk riffs that shame Greg Ginn, expansive ambient compositions, and alcohol/hallucinogen-fueled musings. Over the past decade he has focused his divergent musical output into a beat production catalog guaranteed to keep your head nodding. His live shows--a weekly staple with the nascent Chicago cooperative, Push Beats--unleash a salvo of space-and-time-bending synths and bass lines heavy enough to cave in a blue whale's chest cavity. Zainghis has shared the stage with Dam Funk, Teebs, Shlohmo, Jeremiah Jae, Eliot Lipp, Leo123 and countless local artists helping to cultivate the beat-making scene in Chicago.
Presently Zainghis records and performs solo, as a member of Push Beats, and as one third of the regional collaborative effort, Down Giant (with B.Banks and Doc Ill).
