The first song I ever wrote on a keyboard.

All my scars and my mistakes, they haunt me
    But now these concrete boots,
    They're feeling feather weight
It's like I just had my mind erased
    I feel like the parched,
When they kiss the water's taste
Last night I drew a bath
    With the water around me,
    Like a chalk outline
Then I was cleansed of regret
    I was baptised,
    In a brilliant, bathing lie
And with that, the weight got light
    My shoulders eased
And my feet began to rise
    And then I drift away
No longer tethered to the ghosts,
    The Earth, or yesterday
    But It's not too late
    You could fall in love
    It's right outside your door
Just open it, to see the streetlight shining brightly now
