K.i.D, better known now as Young Hope, is a Hip Hop MC that originates from Tyler, Texas. Born in a small family, Young Hope is the youngest out of two. From an early age he fumbled his way through learning rhythm by playing drums while his childhood best friend Kendrick Brown played on the guitar or electric piano. Young Hope wasn't always musically inclined, in fact he was kicked off the drums plenty of times and didn't pick up another musical instrument until his music classes in elementary. From there he joined his middle school band and quickly became one of the cities best trumpet players, he was asked to accompany college level bands in playing at graduations, ceremonies and weddings. In the background of his trumpet playing Young Hope was working on his lyrical skill by taking Industry Hits at the time and remixing them on the fly to be songs about food. His other childhood friend and relative Larry Taylor began making instrumental CDs for Young Hope to freestyle to and later became the same instrumentals he would make songs to.

Fast forward to college when Young Hope began to focus on getting his name out by social media such as Myspace, Facebook, and Soundclick. Through Myspace Young Hope was able to work with other recording artists all over the U.S and in other countries world wide! From Djs in Europe to singers in Canada to MCs in the Philippines. Now Young Hope has focused on getting his name out there even more by doing some local shows in the DFW area and by expanding his social networking even farther to reach more ears! Along the way he has met and established relationships with up and coming Hip Hop recording artists like Marcus Young, Rob 3, A.V The Great, Fab Deuce, Street Hop, Flowman, and even Djs such as Pass The 40, BBoy Morris, Android 17, The Hi-yahz, and Dj Aiden.

Young Hope has a ton of new projects lined up, a ton of other artists to work with and a lot of new ventures a head! Join in and watch as a brand new Hip Hop movement takes place and elevates!
