The UK’s YOU LOVE HER COZ SHE’S DEAD are a hard-edged but dreamy & euphoric electronic trio with varied influences demonstrated on official releases, remixes and instrumentals, which show a unique evolution from the more chiptune origins since formation in 2007. The self-titled debut album followed an iTunes featured 'Hot Picks' debut EP, several times SOLD OUT debut 10" vinyl ‘Inner City Angst’ EP on Kitsuné, as well as SOLD OUT self-released DIY 7" vinyl. Plus remixes & compilations on labels, Kitsuné, EMI (CH), Glasstone, Flake (JP), Hottwerk & Birth. YLHCSD won an INDY Award at THE FORUM, London for ‘Best UK Electronic Act 2008’, before acting/performing a scene in cult youth TV series SKINS (se3ep7). YLHCSD’s music has also been invited onto TV shows such as TEEN WOLF, AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL, GIRLS (HBO), video games such as SAINTS ROW III, as well as short films, extreme sports DVDs & documentaries. The debut album (Out now on Glasstone) was produced by Jay Dead, mastered by The Exchange (DAFT PUNK, JUSTICE, Björk, PRODIGY) & achieved commercial Radio One airing in the UK as well as TV. A Japanese version incl. bonus tracks was released on Flake. YLHCSD have been billed with acts such as STEVE AOKI, SLEIGH BELLS, UFFIE, MR OIZO & CRYSTAL CASTLES & MYSTERY JETS to name only a few. With the departure of Elle from YLHCSD in April’12, Jay recruited Poppy from Rome (IT), who relocated to the UK to continue the project. Poppy Dead debuted live with YLHCSD July 2012 at Emmaboda Festival, Sweden.
