Multimedia artist originally from Alberta, Canada.
Using radio transmitters and receivers, vintage turntables and shellac records, analog electronics and digital sampling to create spaces and surfaces of static and pressure.
"Songs" are frameworks or systems around which I improvise. The concept is in the processes and narratives in which I choose to make and take sounds, rather than any set musical composition. The action is improvised within systemic frameworks. I like to play systems that are slightly beyond my control, the tension being the balance of chaos and intention.
