Yes Sir Idol is a London-based producer and songwriter who over the past two years has been developing a sound unrestrained by genre although always inspired by the creativity of his idols, whether it be his obsession with Kate Bush's mercurial and haunting mind, or his fascination with Kanye West's production perfection. His debut EP ‘Two Heart Race’ recalls the champagne-soaked rhythms of UK 2-Step, blushed by the meticulous pop-melancholy of Junior Boys; white-label Wookie-infused beats, absorbed into deeply affecting and emotionally honest pop songs.
