This song was my entry to the Executable Music competition at Revision party 2011, in Saarbrücken, Germany.
What you hear is the raw output from my software synthesizer, Krypton, which comes in the form of a single 10.5kb executable file (song data included).

@LLB_: I guess this technique is used for the fairlight's prods (musics from reed use real snare samples).

I agree with Gargaj. Small samples perfectly fit with size constraints and can add a lot. In an exe music, you can even store some samples in raw wave and rely on kkrunchy for compression.

@Gargaj: haha, simply :D I never thought about that, strangely... Yup, with the help of compression and clever storage, this could be done without too much trouble, I reckon. =)

@xtrium: Samples ;) If you want a real sounding snare, use a real sounding snare.

@Gargaj: Well, drums are the main thing I pull my hair off with. While I can get an OK-sounding kick drum
(just didn't have much time here :D), snare drums and hihats haunt my nightmares :D No matter what I try, I always get...
well, a snare drum that sounds like it comes right from a 4k. I dunno, I might just do something wrong... If you have any tips about drums, I'd gladly hear them from you. :) - Gargaj

Very nice production / soundmix, the drums are the only thing I'd complain about.

C'est étrange de faire une montée façon trance pour ensuite avoir un rythme tout calme.
