Northwestern grad / former NFL player Jeff Roehl is reborn as Xonic, a producer / DJ climbing the ranks of the Chicago music scene. Xonic is a Spring Awakening Music Festival 2013 artist and a resident at the Century Room/the Mid, Prohibit, Vertigo, Dolphin, and Bodi. Past performances encompass the top-tier of Chicago nightlife (the Mid, Spybar, Rooftop at the Wit, Sound-bar, Congress Theater, Bodi, Bull & Bear, Bevy, NV Penthouse, the Century Room at the Mid, Enclave, Prohibit, Red Ivy, Y Bar, Fedora Lounge, Stay, Proof, Vertigo Sky Lounge, Polekatz, and Estate Ultrabar.) He recently took his talents to the international level, performing two shows in Mexico City in September of 2012.
Xonic is the official DJ for the House of Chi - the premiere group of passionate EDM fans in Chicago. He performed at the 2012 Bass City Oasis Festival alongside Lazy Rich and Hatiras, played the official Bassnectar afterparty at Illinois State University, and has performed on the road with Na Palm.
In his short career, he has opened for, or shared the bill with, top acts such as Afrojack, Porter Robinson, Hardwell, R3hab, Zedd, Mord Fustang, Milk N Cookies, Shermanology, Jordan V, Trentino, DJ Stellar, Midnight Conspiracy, Nathan Scott, DJ Torio, Dante the Don, Steve Smooth, Gus Karas, Nervo, Sofie Fatale, DJ Gordo, DJ Jem, D2A, Matt Roan, Positive Vibr8tions, & Swggrbck, and headlined the 2012 MODA fashion show at Union Station.
