Need a gift for a gifted musician?
Most DJs get into it because they "love" music. Robert Pan (Kenji Saphyre) started DJing because he hated the same predictable music being overplayed at most parties and sought to make a difference.
With most people being told to "produce, produce, produce" to "get famous", Saphyre instead focused on becoming a good DJ. This meant avoiding the cliches, digging deep for those underground tunes, and never being afraid to surprise everyone with the classics. His goal is to get people interested in THE MUSIC - not him. If after a Saphyre set you say to yourself, "what track was that... I must know!", then he did his job correctly.
Saphyre's sets are mainly focused on melodic trance, but as a DJ can take you any direction weather it be harder, uplifting, or techy.
He has performed at San Francisco venues such as Ruby Skye and The Regency Ballroom, and has opened for acts such as Solarstone, Airbase, Rank 1, Cosmic Gate, TyDi, Ian van Dahl, Cascada, and more.
