dope stuff xarius!!!
ive been slowly, and i mean slowly, getting into mixes like these. I just finished listening to Mushroom Jazz 6 by Mark Farina about a week ago...and shit man, if farina is someone legit in this genre, then xariusound's Stellar Winds 2 is as masterfully done, if not better than that album. I might be a rookie to this, and it might be the bottle of fermented grapes i just took to the dome...but this shit's dope. - Mahna Miya

The first installment of Stellar Winds is an absolute ear-gasm and, a loving work of juxtaposing the unexpected, its reprise is even more so. An aural alchemist, Xariusound has an unnatural knack for combining elements to conceive an entity that is greater than the sum of its parts. The resulting Stellar Winds II is effortless. It's as if your very own heart begins to beat to the same cadence of the sounds he stitches together - a pulsing rhythm that is truly infectious.

This compilation ought to be preceded by a countdown ‘til blast off, or at the very least a warning. Even if you weren’t high going into this mix, it’s the way you felt leaving it.
Xariusound’s accolades begin, and appropriately so, with the succulent selection of underlying tracks, eclectic accompaniment, and vocal samples; all tailored to cause the corners of your lips raise in delight with reminiscence. Not only does he bust your braincase open with the exquisite diction of loud noises, but his elegant timing and interweaving of this symphony is perfectly selected to apply these good vibrations to start the ascension of your brain junk straight to the heavens.
After being rocketed into the stratosphere, as is if sitting the cloud equivalent of a barcalounger while wearing an all white leisure suit wearing with some all white beats by Dre, Xariusound gives you the grooviest tour of your happy place possible in 2011. Besides overarching contentment with life, the only feeling one is allowed to have after giving this mix a listen is a need, maybe even arising to the level of an addiction, to relisten. Chase that dragon.

"In a time where DJ mixes are a dime a dozen and majority have no direction, it's good to know that there are still DJs that take the time to map out the listener's journey. Xariousound's newest audio release does just that. "Stellar Winds II" continues right where "Stellar Winds" left off, with aurally stimulating uptempo selections that exude brilliance and sophistication. "Stellar Winds II" is an easy listen from front to back, and just like his graphic and visual work, Xariousound strives to create work that is clean, timeless, well-constructed, and just damn good."
