About

Bio:
Xarish is a producer of various upbeat forms of electronic music, currently based in Nottingham, UK.

Originally starting out as a DJ, he worked as a sound engineer, before moving on to production, and has produced many different electronic genres; including progressive house, tribal, breaks, oldskool, acid, minimal, and even a bit of ambient stuff. Currently prefering to produce house, tech house and techno. Recent productions also seem heavily influenced by his latin roots (samples of these tracks coming soon).

Over the years, he has produced, released, and performed DJ sets under various names. Collaborating with other producers and remixing within various genres, which remains an ongoing option. Also working on sound design and mastering other people’s projects, audio recording and editing for various organisations, and on sound editing for a few movies and games recently (not just in a musical sense).

Currently, Xarish is recording new tracks for 2012 and is working on several other projects and collaborations with other artists.

Previously he had held regular DJ residencies at Blueprint and Zero Basic, and still plays occasional guest slots at various locations, although is now concentrating mainly on production.
